Edale: Reflection on the project

The portrait of place project in Edale was the first project given to me at Sheffield Hallam. as it was my first production and first serious attempt at using the equipment I think we did quite well. Me and Lucy planned our work together and shared the creative responsibility evenly. In hindsight the day of the shoot was dreary and we could have returned when the weather was better to get our footage. With that said, we made the most of the poor weather and I think we coped well in adapting our ideas. There are amny flaws in our final three minute piece as I feel we filled time by putting in shots that didn't particularly express our idea well. If i was to redo this project I would spend more time expanding on the script and work harder in post-production to make sure our film is paced properly.
