Drama: Initial Treatment

This is my inital treatment for a film I have called Cycles. The theme of cycles and repitition will be prevalent throughout especially in terms of the narrative structure. I started writing this based on conversation I had with Aaron and Alex, we settled and a starting point of Bicycle Day which is the aniversary of the first synthesisation of LSD. Alex also suggested an idea regarding a cosmonaut as a visual link to the psychonauts of the 1960s who advocated the use of hallucinagenics. We also talked about the idea of the cosmonaut playing the role of a 'spirit guide' to our protagonist although the audience should be unsure whether to trust him.
