Here are the six colours commonly found on colour bars. |

Colours are often used to express a feeling and many have become synonymous with the emotion they are associated with. The six colours above are what I will be using in my film as a way to reflect my theme of identity through television and the divided 'colours' of it. As a result I have looked into what each colour could reflect to my audience and have up with this rough plan:
Yellow - Fear / Paranoia
Cyan - Tranquility
Green - Envy / Vanity
Magenta - Frustration / Stress
Red - Anger / Passion
Dark Blue - Intelligence
I chose each emotion based on what seemed most obvious to me as well as making use various websites such as
Colour Wheel Pro to inform my decision.
I have chosen this photograph of mine as an example shot. What I would like to do is colour grade each scene / room differently with the above colour - emotion plan. Below is an example of the effect I hope to achieve using Final Cut colour grading using this image.
