Major Project Development : A2 Poster Designs

This design makes use of the spinning fractal which I edited from one of my photos on Photoshop and used in the final film. I also used a drawing from the Rubaiyat Of Omar Khayyam as I really liked it. I feel it symbolises a gateway (shaped like a keyhole)which could be a doorway to another realm, possibly that of dreams. I felt it worked as a nice symbol for my film although it is not used in the movie.

This image is similar to the above one in the use of the gateway image, however, I scanned a page from the Rubaiyat
and used that as a background text at the top, it refers to dreaming. I also scanned a page from Alice In Wonderland and flipped it over itself, this blended layer looks like some sort of illegible text which i thought was intriguing. I also designed a background by editing a another page of the Rubaiyat, which depicted some lovely Persian towers. I made duplicate layers and then flipped the top layers horizontally and then vertically, blending them each time to create a kind of kaleidoscopic image. I made this background subtle in the poster as not to draw too much attention from the film title itself and it is dodged into the colour of the background.

This other poster design was a blend of the previous too but very stripped back in order to create more focus on the colour of the wheel and the title of my film.
