Major Project Development: Props and Art Design

I would like to try shooting this film with a 50mm lens as I feel a shallow depth of field will create a stranger more dream-like world. I also want to use several props in order to help me achieve my idea. The main two being the key and the dagger.

I also want to give my stranger character a scary and mysterious costume, I painted this mask and fashioned a robe from a wall hanging I own. I also want to his head in a black scarf and give him red gloves. He'll look skeletal, which works for me as I want this character to just be part of my protagonist's psyche and therefore not fully formed and decrepit.

I also want to link the living room sequence to the forest as well as give a sense of the man's fragmented mind through the picture behind my actor.
